Hollywoodbets ‘Double Danny’ In Great Form

Saturday double at Chelmsford rounds off good week

Newmarket-based Daniel Muscutt has found outstanding form as Hollywoodbets first Northern Hemisphere-sponsored jockey.

The 26 year old booted home a double at Chelmsford on Saturday to take his tally for the week to three winners since he commenced carrying the famous purple flag.

In an announcement earlier this week, Sportsbook operator Hollywoodbets welcomed the Zimbabwe-born Daniel Muscutt as a Brand Ambassador for the company’s fast developing United Kingdom and Ireland online business.

Muscutt duly broke the ice early, winning on Graystone for trainer Lucy Wadham at Kempton on Wednesday.

On Saturday, a pick-up ride helped the talented rider notch a double with Chola Empire winning the second for trainer David Simcock. The red-hot Muscutt crowned a great day when Trumble won the fifth for the Shropshire-based Loughnane yard.

To round off a terrific week for the Muscutt family, Daniel’s veteran trainer Dad Peter, who is based in Durban and is also sponsored by Hollywoodbets, saddled the impressive Quasillo colt Quasiforsure who romped home in the final race at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday, to keep his unbeaten record intact.

Daniel Muscutt has two rides at Wolverhampton on Monday.

The next KZN racemeeting is at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Wednesday, where the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge progressive jackpot will offer R1 850 000 to the player/s who can select all 8 winners on the card.

A R10 000 must-be-won prize will be shared by the top 20 on the afternoon’s leaderboard.

In Sunday’s challenge, player ‘Koobie’ scooped the R4 000 top of the log cheque for tipping six of the eight winners on the programme.

Koobie only missed in the second race where Running Rifles ran second and in the final race, where Spirit Of My Fate was beaten into third.

Interestingly, the second placed player, Crestben and third-placed Tyerel, also tipped six winners with two places each. All three had different combinations!
