   Jungle Rock, 1986, Gosforth Park, I was there on a weekend pass while in the army, trying to overthrow the apartheid regime with a few pots of badly cooked food.

   Hell , I miss Gosforth Park & Bartie Leisher & sprinters Welcome Guest & Divine Act

   Well done Wendy & William – absolutely spot on. It is indeed the Spike Lerena-trained Jungle Rock winning the 1 March 1986 Southern Sun Classic at Gosforth Park with Christie Blom in the saddle.

   Jungle Rock a memorable horse I remember him winning the Durban July.
   I also in fact owned his granddaughter Lady’s Lass.
