Cape Winter Series Climax Rescheduled

Winter Derby for 14 July slot

Kenilworth Racing have pencilled in Saturday 14 July as a new date for the five features lost as a result of the weather abandoned meeting on Saturday 30 June.

The abandoned meeting was intended to herald the climax of the prestigious Highlands Cape Winter Series with the R250 000 Gr3 Winter Derby the headline event.

The other features rescheduled include the R200 000 Listed Langerman, the R150 000 Listed Ladies Mile, the R150 000 Listed Winter Oaks and the R125 000 Listed Irridescence Stakes.

The programme is still being finalised and entries will open on Friday 6 July.
