Handicapping Guidelines – New!

Brand new with effect 1 August 2019

National Horseracing AuthorityFlowing from the blanket domestic merit rating adjustments on 1 August, the new Handicapping Guidelines to be implemented for the new Racing Season have been published.

The purpose of the document is to assist industry participants to gain a greater understanding of the method and decision-making process used when arriving at the weight horses will be allocated by virtue of their performances in the races they compete in.
