Greyville Today – First Timers

Straight from the horse's mouth

DES EGDES:

Race 1 – ON FLEEK (11): I think he will be green in the race and it is a bit short for him – he might just need this run to gain experience for when going further – in saying that, it would not surprise me if he is finishing his race off well and running on well.

Dean Kannemeyer - positive about Arran Isles

Dean Kannemeyer – positive about Arran Isles

DUNCAN HOWELLS:

Race 1 – ROMAN EMPEROR (12): Needs a lot more ground.

DEAN KANNEMEYER:

Race 2 – ARRAN ISLES (8): She is worth including.

GARTH PULLER:

Race 2 – LADY BOK (10): She is a feisty filly and rather a handful and can be naughty hence the reason I have put a senior rider on her first time – she will need the experience today but she does show pace at home. I feel it will take a few runs before she starts to show. I also get the impression that she will be better suited to the grass.

JEFF FREEDMAN:

Race 2 – VARSONIC (12): She needs a bit further – she is bred to stay.
