Greeff, Fourie And A Knight To Remember

First due off @ 12h20

Fairview will end the year with an eight-race programme on the polytrack this afternoon.

The first is due off at 12h20 and the lucky last set for 16h30. Selections for the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge must be in at least 5 minutes before the first is off.

Trainer Alan Greeff sends out Fairy Knight in Race 7. He won his last start over this course and distance with ease.

He raced from a handy position, quickened up well and drew clear of the opposition. The blinkers have done the trick on the son of Global View.

He does have to contend with the widest draw but gets the services of Richard Fourie who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

He meets a similar line-up and may be the horse to beat.

Querandi from the Zietsman Oosthuizen stable takes her place in Race 5. She ran a good race when third over 1600m on this course last time.

She finished 1 length behind First Wish in her penultimate run.

She is 6.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

She jumps from pole position and can notch up her second-career victory.
