Greeff And Fourie On The Right Path Today

First due off @ 12h20

Today’s local racemeeting takes place on the Fairview Turf track.

The first on the eight-race programme is due off at 12h20.

Trainer Alan Greeff sends out Coastal Path in Race 6 and he looks to be the best bet on the programme.

He fought hard for his last victory over this distance on the polytrack.

The blinkers have done the trick on the son of Global View.

He has won twice and finished third twice from seven starts over this course and distance.

He meets the right field and should follow up with another victory.

Trainer Gavin Smith sends out William The First in the lucky last.

He is better than his last start over 1200m on the polytrack. His penultimate run when second to Bethel over this distance on the polytrack, catches the eye.

He drops back in class and gets the services of Donald Geerthsen which will assist his cause.

The son of William Longsword can return to winning ways.

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
