Justin Snaith saddles Warrior in the Gr3 WSB Legal Eagle Stakes (Pic- Chase Liebenberg)

Warrior from the Justin Snaith stable takes his place in the Grade 3 WSB Legal Eagle Stakes.

He was given a peach of a ride when winning the Grade 3 WSB Variety Club Mile last time.

The son of Futura looks to have plenty of ability and should love the rise to the 1800m. He looks set to notch up his fourth victory in a row.

Glen Kotzen sends out Sovereign Rose in the lucky last. She is much better than her last start over this distance at Durbanville.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She has won once and finished second once from three starts over this course and distance.

The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade takes a drop in the ratings and in class. With a bit of luck from her wide draw, she may be the one to cause the upset.

The winter course false rail is in its original position with a 2m spur at the 470m mark. The start is forward of zero by 2m.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 12h40
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h15
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 13h50
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h28
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h03
