Stay Thirsty

Stay Thirsty – sire of Cheval Blanche

Cheval Blanche, who was bred by Klawervlei, is one of 16 juvenile fillies set to line up in the 1200m race, which is due to be run (South African time) at 15h30.

A winner of her only start to date, Cheval Blanche is trained by Michael Bell and will be partnered by James McDonald.

Cheval Blanche won her only start when scoring over 1200m on debut and will be bidding to join an honour roll which includes such Gr1 winners as Cursory Glance and Samitar as well as the hugely talented Sander Camillo.

She was the first British winner for the young Bernardini stallion Stay Thirsty, whose wins included the Gr1 Travers Stakes and Gr1 Cigar Mile.

Cheval Blanche is out of the Giant’s Causeway mare Primrose Hill, whose dam, Marylebone, won the G1 Frizette Stakes.
