PE Raider Aims At SA Triple Crown

Unbeaten Hawwaam could take his place

The start of the Highveld Feature Season comes just a week after the Sun Met and sees the running of the respective first legs of the SA Triple Crown and SA Triple Tiara at Turffontein.

The R1 million Gr2 Gauteng Guineas will be run on Saturday 2 February and has attracted 17 entries headed by Mike de Kock’s exciting unbeaten Dingaans  winner Hawwaam.

Also amongst the entries is the PE raider National Park, who won the Graham Beck Stakes at Turffontein late last year, and confirmed his wellbeing with a smooth victory over older established handicappers at Fairview last Friday.

Mike de Kock holds five of the 17 entries.
