Sean Tarry’s 3yo Zillzaal will take his place under Anton Marcus in the Consolation July at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday after his reserve runner status in the Vodacom Durban July lapsed at 08h15 today.

Eighteen of our top thoroughbreds will line up in the July, with Camphoratus, originally the first reserve, stepping in for the withdrawn Magnificent Seven. Gareth Wright takes the mount for Robbie and Shannon Hill.

Saftote is paying 6 places for the July (race 7) and the quartet is expected to reach R16 million.

Zillzaal runs in the third race, the Place Accumulator opener. The pool for the popular seven leg exotic is expected to reach R3,5 million.
