Mike Azzie-trained Rabada was withdrawn ‘injured near hind’ at 08h06 on Friday from the Gr1 Investec Cape Derby to be run at Kenilworth on Saturday.
He joins his stablemate Abashiri, who was withdrawn earlier this week.
Anton Marcus, who was to have ridden Abashiri, now takes over from Raymond Danielson on possible pacemaker, Kemal Kavur.
Danielson rides Paladin, who now gets a run.
