In a disappointment for Sean Tarry and the Wernars family, the Gr1 Gold Medallion winner Proceed was withdrawn at 09h16 on Monday from Sunday’s World Pool Moment of the Day Gr1 Premiers Champion Stakes at Hollywoodbets Greyville.

The son of Gimmethegreenlight was reported to have a swollen off-fore.

This brings first reserve runner Parisian Walkway into the race.

The Wilgerbosdrift & Mauritzfontein bred son of Ideal World will be ridden by Kabelo Matsunyane and will jump from gate 8.

Sean Tarry’s quest to make up the leeway on log-leader Justin Snaith in the chase for the national champion trainer title is not lost.

The former multiple champion saddles Durban Gr2 Golden Horseshoe winner Cosmic Speed (Grant van Niekerk) and Legend Of Arthur (Richard Fourie)  in the final 2yo Grade 1 contest of the term.
