Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Gavin Smith sends out Gimme’s Laddie in Race 5. He ran on strongly when winning his last start over 1400m on this course.

He has won twice, finished second once and third five times from ten starts over this distance.

The son of Gimmethegreenlight is in a good space and if getting away to a clean start, he can follow up with another victory. Regular pilot Craig Zackey retains the ride.

Holocene from the Alan Greeff stable represents decent each way value in Race 6. He should have finished closer to the winner in his local debut over 1000m.

He had to be steadied at the 300m mark but the way he stayed on at the finish was encouraging.

The son of Heavenly Blue would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. With a bit of luck in running, he may be the one to cause the upset.
