Geyville Meeting Tote Tickets Are Void

It is hoped that tonight's meeting goes ahead

void-stamp-300x129Punters are requested to exercise caution with tote bets struck on last night’s postponed Greyville racemeeting.

A notice on the www.tabgold.co.za website states that punters are advised that all bets taken for the Greyville race meeting for Friday, 15th January 2016 are deemed null and void and will be fully refunded.

Thus all bets need to be re-taken on Saturday, 16th January 2016 for the postponed Greyville race meeting.

Punters were shocked to learn that the popular Friday evening meeting was not going ahead after the Polytrack was rendered unsafe at the 1200m mark where the drainage system failed to cope with the torrential downpour over Greyville during the course of Friday afternoon.

The cause of the severe flooding in that area will be investigated with the team from Polytrack.

It is hoped that tonight’s meeting goes ahead.
