Nine races are carded at the Vaal this afternoon.

Trainer Lucky Houdalakis sends out nine runners with a few decent winning chances and his horses may be worth following.

The first is due off at 11h45.

Kinshin Sha from the Lucky Houdalakis stable takes his place in Race 1 and he should give punters a good start to the day.

He showed very good improvement when second in his last start over this course and distance. He showed good speed but was caught late by Richard The First. The son of What A Winter is a progressive type and in this field, he should be the one to beat.

Trainer Barend Botes saddles Berengaria in Race 8. She showed good signs of a form return last time.

She finished 1.6 lengths behind What A Honey that day and is 3.5kgs better off at the weights.

That should be enough for the tables to be turned. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and she is capable of notching up her fourth career victory.
