Kick off the weekend with Friday night racing at Hollywoodbets Greyville from 15h00, setting the stage for a full weekend of spectacular racing action. Free entry and onsite parking with loads of entertainment for the whole family.

  •  Friday, 20h00: Breeders’ Cup from Del Mar, California

Starting Friday evening, the Breeders’ Cup from Del Mar brings an exciting lineup, including a mix of international contenders across multiple races, all set under California lights.

  •  Saturday, 03h40: Victoria Derby at Flemington, Melbourne

The global excitement continues in the early hours of Saturday as Flemington hosts the Victoria Derby, a 7-Race World Pool event, from Race 3 jumping at 03h40.

  • Saturday: Local Racing and Cape Summer Season Kick-Off

Racing returns locally on Saturday with high stakes at Turffontein, featuring a R1 million Pick 6 carryover, and we start the build-up to the Cape Summer Season as we return to Hollywoodbets Kenilworth for the Southeaster Sprint and Grade 3 Cape Classic.

  • Saturday, 19h00: Back to the Breeders’ Cup

The evening’s spotlight shifts back to Del Mar for the Breeders’ Cup, featuring local favourite Isivunguvungu in the Turf Sprint (Race 5) at 21h41. The excitement continues with Race 8 at 23h41, the Breeders’ Cup Classic, showcasing elite runners like City of Troy and Fierceness. Another Breeders’ Cup highlight, Race 9’s Fillies & Mares Turf, begins at 00h25 on Sunday with Beach Bomb in the field.

  • Sunday, from 12h35: Hollywoodbets Greyville

The action-packed weekend wraps up with a return to Hollywoodbets Greyville, where See It Again and Royal Victory begin their big race preparations in race 3, a Pinnacle Plate over 1600m at 13h45.
