Glen Kotzen saddles My Boy Reecey in Race 2 today (Pic- Candiese Lenferna)

Jimmy The Rich writes that Western Cape based trainer Glen Kotzen saddles My Boy Reecey in Race 2.

He showed very good improvement when finishing third over 1600m on this course last time. He was slow into stride, but the manner in which he stayed on at the finish was encouraging.

The son of Wylie Hall will love the extra distance on offer and from his good draw of three, he should be the one to beat.

Forest Field from the Duncan McKenzie stable takes her place in the lucky last race.

She ran a good race when finishing second in the Listed East Cape Breeders Stakes last time.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. If repeating that effort today, she should go one better.

The false rail is 3m out at the 421m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h25
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third race at 12h55
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth race at 13h35
