Jimmy The Rich writes that Justin Snaith sends just the one runner to the Eastern Cape. Tarantino takes his place in Race 6 and he is the best bet on the card.

He moved up like a winner in his last start over this distance on the polytrack, but was caught in the shadow of the post.

He has finished second three times from as many starts on this course. The 12-week break would have done him the world of good and if not in need of the run, he should be the one to beat.

Interstate from the Duncan McKenzie stable represents decent each way value in the last race.

He showed very good signs of a form return in his last start over 1400m on this course. He should have finished closer to the winner that day as he hung in the latter stages.

The son of Archipenko takes a drop in class and should be cherry-ripe. He jumps from pole position and can return to winning ways.

G Shuping & S Devoy will not be riding today with the stipes permission.

The false rail is set at 7m of zero to the 1200m mark, increasing to 12m at the 700m mark and decreasing to 7m at the 400m mark with a 5m spur.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h20
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 12h55
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h30
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h05
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h40

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
