Greg Cheyne rides Colorado Springs for the Alan Greeff yard in Race 5 today

Colorado Springs from the Alan Greeff stable takes her place in Race 5. She has top consistent form lines to her credit.

She was not disgraced when finishing second behind Jaeger Moon in the Listed East Cape Derby last time.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

She has won twice and finished second twice from as many starts over this distance. The daughter of Ideal World should get back to winning ways.

Celtillus may be the one to close off the meeting for the Alan Greeff camp.

He finished 0.5 lengths behind Atkinson Grimshaw last time.

He is 1kg better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He won his only attempt over this distance.

The son of Vercingetorix is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. With a bit of luck from his wide draw, he should return to winning ways.

The false rail is 3m off zero from 200m with a 1,5m spur at the 800m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h30
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h05
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h40
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h15
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h50
