Fairview Racecourse plays host to an eight-race programme on the polytrack this afternoon.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Johan Janse van Vuuren sends out Keara in Race 1. She showed very good improvement in her last start over this C&D.

She reared at the start and was reported to have a mouth injury which makes the effort that much more encouraging.

The daughter of Orpen looks to be a progressive type and if jumping on terms, she should go one better here.

Escape To Vegas represents some decent each way value in Race 2. She has shown good signs of a form return in her last two starts, the latest of which was over this C&D.

It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since.

Her record over this distance is encouraging having won three times, finishing second three times and third three times from 14 starts. She is drawn well and if jumping on terms, can return to winning ways.

The false rail is 3m out at the 421m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h30
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h00
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h35
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h10
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h50
