Trainer Juan Nel saddles Angel Bouquet in race 7 today

Jimmy The Rich writes Alan Greeff saddles Paris Opera in Race 2 and she is the best bet on the card.

She produced an eye-catching debut effort over 1200m on this course. She showed good speed that day and stayed on nicely at the business end.

The daughter of Wylie Hall would have come on from the outing and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should go one better here.

Trainer Juan Nel and jockey Luyolo Mxothwa team up in Race 7 with Angel Bouquet. She was not disgraced when finishing fifth against males last time.

She should have finished closer that day as she was cramped for galloping room at the 400m mark. She has dropped to a competitive rating and may be the one to cause the upset.

The false rail is 7m of zero to the 800m mark with a 7m spur.

  • The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h35
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third race at 13h05
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth race at 13h35
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h10
  • The second Jackpot starts in the sixth race at 14h45

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson
