First race off @ 11h25

Fairview Racecourse plays host to a nine-race programme on the polytrack this afternoon.

The main event of the day is the Non-Black Type Walmer Handicap over 1800m. It is an early start to the day with the first due off at 11h25.

A reminder to submit your free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punter’s Challenge entries before 11h20!

Green Falcon from the Gavin Smith stable takes his place in Race 4 and he is a possible Pick 6 banker.

He has produced two good runs since winning his maiden over this course and distance.

He stayed on at the finish last time but found one too good in the form of Silvery Blue. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. If jumping on terms, he should return to winning ways.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Gavin Smith saddles Eyjafjallajokull in Race 8.

He showed good signs of a form return in his local debut over this course and distance.

He brushed the inside running rail that day, but the manner in which he stayed on at the finish was eye-catching.

The son of Erupt would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. He takes a drop in class and with a bit of luck in running, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
