Bipot starts in the first race @ 12h30

Hollywoodbets Scottsville plays host to an eight-race programme this afternoon.

There is one feature race on the day, the Non-Black Type Fever Tree Stakes.

Don’t forget to take the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge – first is due off at 12h30.

Winning Form-sponsored Richard Fourie is in red-hot form. He is seen here with Hollywood Racing Syndicate Manager, Anthony Delpech (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Quid Pro Quo can give the Barend Botes yard their first winner since relocating to KZN and should give punters a good start to the day.

Her last start when taking on winners over 1000m on this course was eye-catching.

She showed good pace and greenness may have cost her winning. The daughter of Lance looks to have ability.

She is back in Maiden Company and with Winning Form-sponsored Jockey Richard Fourie in the saddle, she should take a power of beating.

Here’s what the trainers had to say:

Trainer Mike Miller sends out Kimball O’Hara in Race 8 and he may be the horse to close off the meeting.

He showed good improvement in his last start over 1400m on this course. He was squeezed when leaving the start, but the way he stayed on at the finish was encouraging.

He takes a drop-in class and is having his peak run. With a bit of luck from his awkward draw of nine, he should be the one to beat.

Jockey Jason Gates is not riding today.
