First due off @ 12h30

Trainer Alan Greeff sends out Gideon’s Daughter in Race 3. She will be rdiden by Richard Fourie.

She was unlucky not to have won her last start as she was held up for a run from the 150m mark to the finish.

She finished 1.25 lengths behind Sky Velocity that day and is 1kg better off at the weights.

The daughter of Skitt Skizzle will be at home over the 1900m and with a bit of luck in running, she should take a power of beating.

Raising Quinn from the Juan Nel stable takes her place in Race 5.

She was not beaten far in her last start over 1400m on this course, against male company.

The way she stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

Her last victory came over this course and distance. She jumps from pole position and with Denis Schwarz in the saddle, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

Jockeys Juan Paul van der Merwe and Jason Gates will not be riding today.
