First due off @ 12h30

Today’s local horseracing takes place at the Fairview Racecourse with the first on an eight-race programme due off at 12h30.

Winning Form-sponsored Jockey Richard Fourie has a full book of rides with a few decent winning chances and he may be worth following.

Trainer Alan Greeff sends out Luna Halo in Race 4 and she is the possible Pick 6 banker. She was unlucky not to have won the Listed Lady’s Bracelet as the saddle slipped in running.

It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She has won three times and finished second once from as many starts on this course.

The daughter of Fire Away is the class horse in this race and she should take a power of beating.

Joyous Jubilee from the Tara Laing stable may be the horse to close off the meeting.

He ran a fair race in his last start over this distance on the polytrack.

His penultimate run when third over this course and distance was encouraging. Raymond Danielson steps back into the saddle and he may be rewarded for consistency.

Jockey Luyolo Mxothwa will not be riding today.
