Flower Alley Mare Bids For Record-Breaking Victory

Fairview starts at 12h50 on Friday

Power combination Richard Fourie and Alan Greeff will be looking for a feature victory at Fairview on Friday when the Flower Alley 6yo will be bidding for a record-breaking third consecutive victory in the R200 000 Listed Betway Insurebet Jockey Club Stakes.

One of the yard favourites in the powerful Alan Greeff stable, the Wilgerbosdrift & Mauritzfontein bred mare is aiming for her 13th career victory when she takes her place in the feature for fillies and mares over 2000m on the Fairview turf track.

This is the first feature where the owner of the first locally-trained horse home receives an additional R35 000, while the trainer of the  first locally-trained horse home receives a R15 000 bonus. These incentives are courtesy of Betway.
