A reminder that the CTS Cape Premier Yearling Sale will be held at De Grendel Wine Estate from 13h30 on Sunday 6 February.
Beaumont Stud, nestled at the foot of Du Toit’s Kloof, near Paarl, has consigned a colt and two fillies to the sale.

Dominique & Anton Shepherd
Anton Shepherd is clearly upbeat about his three entries from his Beaumont Stud.
He tells us:
Lot 8: Colt by Pathfork (USA) – Bois De Boulogne
“This is a lovely, classy, and well grown colt, one of the best of my current crop. He is out of a Trippi mare that I firmly believe will throw a champion.”
Lot 120: Filly by Global View (USA) – Reine Tonnerre
“She is a scopey, well put together filly. Her dam won four races, and I am hoping she will make the mare proud. She is from one of the best families in the stud book.”
Lot 160: Filly by William Longsword – Tina’s Trip
“She is a scopey, high quality filly. Out of a black type-producing Trippi mare, the blood is there to match the specimen.
