Bumper Kenilworth Programme

First off at 13h00

A bumper ten race programme at Kenilworth on Saturday is headlined by the Gr1 Cape Guineas and Gr1 Cape Fillies Guineas.

Dean Kannemeyer – unusual to see an early 2yo runner

The second juvenile race of the season will open the programme and is the first run over 1000m this term.

After having their fingers burnt by Paul Reeves’ Chilly Winter in the opening baby scurry of the term a fortnight ago, when the daughter of What A Winter got up under the claiming apprentice to beat the odds-on favourite Shinnecock, who should atone next time.

Dean Kannemeyer has never been an exponent of the early 2yo races but he is expecting a nice run from his Gimmethegreenlight gelding, Emerald Band.

Vaughan Marshall and Justin Snaith are also quite bullish about their 2yo’sBumper Kenilworth
