DEAN KANNEMEYER

Dean Kannemeyer – bullish

Race 1 – CAPTAIN’S WISH (2): Is showing a lot of natural speed and should be there at the finish – include in exotics.

Race 2 – NEVER FEAR (7): The run will do him good and he wants ground.

Race 2 – SAVEA (11): A speedy type, can’t leave him out, should be right there if not too green.

Race 2 – ZARATOS (12): A nice type but the race will do him good.

VAUGHAN MARSHALL

Race 1 – CRUSADE’S PROMISE (3): A nice horse but will need the experience.

Race 1 – RACINE (6): Should have a place chance.

Race 2 – DIRECTOR’S ROCK (3): Should have a place chance.

Race 2 – PRINCE JOSH (8): A nice horse but will need the experience.

JONO SNAITH FOR JUSTIN SNAITH

Race 1 – EUROPEAN ROLLER (4): Has plenty of speed and could well run into the places on debut.

GLEN KOTZEN

Race 1 – TRAP QUEEN (7): Only had one gallop and won that but the gallop was with another two year old so there is no form to judge, she has a lot of class but I think a five furlong will be a touch sharp for her – she will be doing her best work at the end – maybe, include her in the back end of your quartets.

ERIC SANDS

Race 1 – VALDERRAMA (8): A small filly – not too sure how she will run but is showing nice work at home.

CARL BURGER AND RIAAN VAN REENEN

Could not be contacted for comment.

BILL PRESTAGE

Race 2 – ROCK N CHAIR (9): He is a very handsome horse but was bought cheaply as he has not the straightest leg – I have not galloped him and he will more than likely need the run but he has shown very good work at home.

BRETT CRAWFORD

Race 3 – MAGIC MARY (7): She may need a run.

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
