The China Horse Club celebrated their first South African feature race success when Dagmar stormed home on debut in March this year for Mike de Kock to win the R150 000 Listed Ruffian Stakes.

The Querari filly runs today in the fifth race at the Vaal after a 16 week rest and her trainer gives her an each way shout.
There are nine races on the Vaal card with the first off at 12h35.
