A Star Attraction

There are very few opportunities for buyers to acquire the stock of the late, great Jet Master. The greatest stallion ever bred in this country, Jet Master has been champion sire six times. His offspring include 18 Gr1 winners and over 100 black type performers.

His champions include the legendary Pocket Power, champion sprinters J J The Jet Plane and Mythical Flight, as well as such Gr1 winners as Ebony Flyer, Floatyourboat, Little Miss Magic, Past Master, Pomodoro, River Jetez, Stratos and Viva Maria. The 2013 KZN Yearling Sales offer buyers a rare opportunity to buy a filly by this legendary stallion.

Boland Stud offer lot 76, a daughter of Jet Master. Her sire has produced no fewer than 10 Gr1 winning daughters to date, while she is equally well bred on the female side. A half-sister to 3 winners, including impressive 2yo winner Just Al, her dam, by leading broodmare sire National Assembly, is a sister to the Gr3 filly Rexana.

So Chic, dam of lot 76, is also a half-sister to the dam of Vodacom Durban July placed Eton Square – who was subsequently exported. This is the great Soho Secret family, responsible for such champions as London News, Kings Gambit and the former Breeders Cup winner, and now Australian based sire, Pluck.

It is an equally successful “filly” family, with top-class members of the fairer sex including the Gr1 winners Lady Brompton, Covenant and champion Promisefrommyheart. Great paddock potential.
