Final Card On Old Surface Tonight At Hollywoodbets Greyville

First due off @ 16h10

With today’s showers expected to ease up as the day progresses, Hollywoodbets Greyville will play host to an eight-race programme on the polytrack this evening with the first due off at 16h10.

This will be the last meeting on the polytrack before the all-weather circuit undergoes the most significant overhaul in its decade of service to KZN racing.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Alyson Wright sends out Royal Mermaid in Race 1 and she should give punters a good start to the day.

She showed improvement when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time.

The way she stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. The daughter of Potala Palace is a progressive type and she may be the one to side with.

Way To Burn from the Garth Puller stable takes her place in Race 7. She should have finished closer to the winner over 1900m last time.

She has won twice and finished second once from six starts on this course.

The daughter of Erupt drops back in class and with a bit of luck in running, she should be hard to peg back.
