Fever Tree Is A Tricky Opener To Jackpot Today

First due off @ 12h30

Today’s eight-race programme at Hollywoodbets Scottsville features the Non-Black Type Fever Tree Stakes.

The first is due off at 12h30 and selections for the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge must be in at least 5 minutes before the first.

Player Spadolicious became the latest jackpot winner in the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge when he banked the all-or-nothing prize of R600 000 at Turffontein on Saturday by selecting the eight winners on the programme.

Had he taken a minimum R50 bet on the programatically generated betslip, he would have doubled his payout to R1,2 million!

But it’s a brand new day today, so don’t forget to get your entry in.

The feature on the Hollywoodbets Scottsville programme is the fourth race (14h15) on the card and it’s a tricky affair – despite only seven runners lining up.

Mike Miller and Tristan Godden team up with Narina Trogon who finished 0,8 lengths behind Gareth van Zyl’s charge Imilenzeyokududuma last time out and they bump again.

The Miller 5yo is 1,5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

Narina Trogon has won once and finished second twice from four starts on this course. The son of Silvano can register his sixth-career victory.

Imilenzeyokududuma goes for a hat-trick today after winning over 1750m on this course last time out.

The 6yo gelding won his only attempt over today’s track and trip and is in a good space, and with Sean Veale grabbing a double down in the Cape yesterday, he will get every assistance from the cockpot.

Gavin Lerena enjoyed a good day at Turffontein on Saturday and partners Formagear for Peter Muscutt. The son of Querari set the pace over 1400m on this course last time and fought hard all the way to the line. If allowed to dictate, he could be dangerous.

Regeneration from the Robbie Hill stable takes her place in Race 8 and she is a possible Pick 6 banker.

She is unbeaten from two starts at Hollywoodbets Greyville. She returns from a 13-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. It is encouraging that Gavin Lerena is booked to ride on her return.

The daughter of Danon Platina has class about her and should take a power of beating.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Darryl Moore sends out JP’s Palace in Race 5. He is lightly raced with good form lines to his credit.

He should have finished closer to the winner last time as he had to be switched for running room at the 100m mark.

The son of Potala Palace is having his peak run and jumps from pole position. With a bit of luck in running, he can return to winning ways.

Race: 7 No: 9 LASHLAROO had a 151 day break due to being given time off to mature.
