Ferrie’s Gladatorian Can Be Crowned Today

Andrew Fortune will not ride today

Hollywoodbets Greyville plays host to a ten-race programme this afternoon. The main event is the Listed Kings Cup which is Race 7 on the card.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge with the first due off at 11h40.

Gladatorian from the Stuart Ferrie stable takes his place in the Listed Kings Cup. He won a good race over 1750m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time.

He returns from a well-deserved 16-week break.

The son of Vercingetorix has won twice, finished second once and third once from seven starts on this course.

He is the class horse in this contest and if fit, he should notch up his ninth-career victory.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Duncan Howells sends out Rooster Bradshaw in Race 8.

He followed up his maiden victory with a decent fourth-place finish over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.

He raced from a handy position that day and stayed on at the finish.

The son of Potala Palace should have no issues with the rise to 1600m.

He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.

Please note that Andrew Fortune is not riding today.

  • The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h10
