Jimmy The Rich writes Sharon Kotzen saddles Fly My Flag in Race 7 on the card. She is lightly raced with very good form to her credit.

She was not disgraced when finishing third against males in her last start over 1400m. She was reported to have bled that day which makes the effort that much more encouraging.

She finished third in her only attempt over this distance. The daughter of Querari has plenty of ability and should take a power of beating.

Beethoven from the Tara Laing stable takes his place in Race 6 and Chase Maujean will do duty. He is much better than his last start over 1200m.

His form prior to that outing was good. He has won four times, finished second three times and third once from eleven starts on this course.

His penultimate run when finishing second over this course and distance against stronger company catches the eye. If repeating that effort, he should get back to winning ways.

The false rail is 1m of zero to the 1200m mark, increasing to 2m to the 800m mark with a 2m spur.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h25
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 12h55
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h30
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h05
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h40

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
