Fairview Racecourse – today’s venue

Trainer Sharon Kotzen sends out Amazing Colours in Race 1. She made the expected natural improvement when second in her last start over this course and distance.

She showed good speed, fought hard but found one too good in the form of Marshmallow. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Heavenly Blue is a progressive type and in this field, she should take a power of beating.

I Like It Hot represents the Tara Laing stable in Race 5. She ran a fair race in a Novice Plate over 1200m on the polytrack last time.

She was not beaten far in male company in her penultimate run over this course and distance. She has won once, finished second once and third twice from seven starts over this distance. The daughter of What A Winter has dropped to a competitive rating and on best form shown, she can return to winning ways.
