Fairview On The Poly Today

Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h30

Another top quality weekend of racing kicks off with an eight-race programme at Fairview Racecourse today on the polytrack, with the first race starting at 12h20.

The best bet of the day comes in Race 8 in the shape of Bloom.

Bobby Bean writes that in her last start over the 1200m, she got going a bit too late and went down by just over a neck to finish in second.

She gets the tongue tie removed and tries the extra 100m this afternoon, with Greg Cheyne retaining the ride.

The pair should be finishing off best of all in the run down to the line.

The value bet of the day is Sark in the fourth race.

In his latest start which was a Merit Rated 79 Handicap he stayed on well to finish in third.

Calvin Habib, pictured above, retains the ride in this contest and the pair should be right there when they reach the finishing post.

The false rail is set at 3m out at the 421 m mark.
