Ghalyoon Can Win Today

First is off at 12h50

With overcast and cold weather prevailing, the last day of August today sees an eight-race programme carded for Fairview on the polytrack.

The first is off at 12h50.

The best bet of the day comes up in Race 3 with Ghalyoon.

He is a horse that likes to race handy in its races and his good inside draw will definitely assist in today’s contest.

He gets jockey Luyolo Mxothwa in the irons and on current form he should be able to shed the maiden.

Bobby Bean writes that the value bet of the day comes up in Race 4 with Sheza Rockstar.

She stayed on nicely in her last start over this course and distance to finish in second behind Viva Le Bleu who also runs in this race.

In today’s contest Sheza Rockstar is 3kgs better off at the weights and that should see her turn around the form of her previous encounter with jockey Diego De Gouveia in the irons from a good mid-field draw.

The false rail is set at 3m our at the 421m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h50
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h25
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 14h00
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h30
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 15h00
