Fairview Going Changed To Good To Soft

Place Accumulator starts in race 2

After winning the first race with Idita, Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Gavin Smith sends out a host of other runners with a few decent winning chances at Fairview today and he may be the man to follow.

Cruise Control returns from Cape (Pic – Pauline Herman)

Cruise Control takes his place in Race 7 and he is the best bet on the programme. He took on much stronger in the Grade 1 Pongracz Cape Flying Championship last time.

The son of Querari has won five times from six starts on this course and is unbeaten from two outings over this course and distance. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off his back. He is likely to race on the speed and should be too good for this field.

Dame Of Flames represents decent each way value in Race 6. She was not disgraced when facing stronger in her last start over 1400m on this course. She should have finished closer to the winner that day as she had to be steadied at the 200m mark.

She has won once and finished third once from three starts over this course and distance. The daughter of Futura takes a drop-in class and from pole position, she should notch up her third career victory.

The going has been changed from good, to good to soft

  • The Bipot started in the first race at 12h35
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h10
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h45
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h20
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h55
