Fairview Goes Ahead On Turf

The first is off at 12h45

After a grass gallop earlier, racing will remain on the turf at Fairview today with the going listed as soft and a pen reading this morning of 27.

Eight races are carded with the main event of the day the Listed Lady’s Bracelet which is run over 1600m.

The first is due off at 12h45.

Luna Halo from the Alan Greeff stable takes her place in the Listed Lady’s Bracelet and she is the best bet on the card. She took on a classy field in the Grade 1 WSB Cape Fillies Guineas at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time.

It must be noted that Beach Bomb has come out and won another Grade 1 since. The daughter of Fire Away is unbeaten from three starts on this course. She is unbeaten from five starts under Richard Fourie and from her good draw of four, she should keep that record intact.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Gavin Smith sends out Trip To Barberton in Race 6. She showed good signs of a form return in her last start over 1900m on this course.

She received a bump leaving the start but raced from a handy position and stayed on to finish fourth.

She is back against her own sex and with Muzi Yeni retaining the ride, she can notch up her second-career victory.
