At the Fairview Racecourse Poly Track meeting on Friday 17 January 2014 three dead heats were declared by the Judge in races 2, 3 and 6, which has raised some negative criticism within the industry.
The National Horseracing Authority, having been aware of these three dead heats in one day and the subsequent discussions, has investigated this matter and is satisfied that the photo finish camera and mirror have been aligned correctly and conform with the required standards,
