Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Gavin Smith sends out The Winter Lake in Race 5. He finished 0.75 lengths behind Jewel Cat last time.

He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

He has won twice and finished second once from as many starts over this course and distance.

He will strip a much fitter horse today and may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

My Ami Beach from the Emmanuel Kaknis stable takes her place in Race 4. She ran on from far back when fifth over 1200m last time.

She has won twice and finished third twice from nine starts over this course and distance.

Apprentice Nirvan Nastili takes the 4kgs off her back which will assist her cause.

She drops in class and back against her own sex, she can return to winning ways.
