Breeder Mike Sharkey of Highlands Farm Stud watched his 21-strong consignment for Friday’s Emperors Palace CTS Select Sale stretch their legs on Wednesday morning in the big barn enclosure behind the D’Loreale Grande Hotel at Emperors Palace.

The Highlands draft includes several well-related yearlings, including former star filly Dancer’s Daughters first foal by Silvano (Lot 30); a half-brother to Pine Princess by Great Britain (Lot 151) and a Dynasty colt from a half-sister to Gr1 winner On Her Toes (Lot146).
“This is such a super bunch of yearlings, I can’t really single out individuals,” said Sharkey. “The Dynasty foals are great, the Pathfork filly is beautiful, the Philanthropists too, we are excited!”
The Sale starts at 2pm on Friday.
