The game Paulus wins at Flamingo Park
The Favour Stud-bred son of King’s Apostle, Paulus, is at 13 on the log for the R2,5 million Emperors Palace Ready To Run Cup to be run over 1400m at Turffontein on 31 October 2015.
Last term’s Zimbabwe champion trainer Corne Spies trains the gelding, who shed his maiden at Kimberley on the sand, and was placed in the Gr2 Umkhomazi Stakes on the Greyville turf during the KZN Champions Season.
He looks likely to take his chances in the illustrious line-up. And as they say, you don’t have a ticket, you don’t have a chance.
