Electric Gold Looks The Power Bet

First race off @ 12h40

Racing is on the Turffontein Inside course this afternoon and eight races are carded.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and the first is due off at 12h40.

Electric Gold from the Tony Peter stable takes his place in Race 7 and he is the best bet on the programme.

He ran a good race when third in the Grade 3 Jubilee Stakes last time. He raced from a handy position and stayed on at the business end.

The son of Flying The Flag won his only attempt on this course.

The blinkers seem to have done the trick and in this field, he should notch up his fifth career victory.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Stuart Pettigrew sends out Quiet Rebellion in Race 6. She ran a fair race over 2000m on the Standside course last time.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

She has won once and finished third three times from five starts over this distance. The daughter of Silvano takes a drop-in class and she should be too good for this field.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h40
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h15
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h50
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h25
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 15h00
