Flashback! Rain In Holland wins the Gr1 Thekwini in dramatic style as a 2yo (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Rain In Holland from the Sean Tarry yard takes her place in the Gr2 4Racing Gerald Rosenberg Stakes which is Race 8. She won a good race in the Gr2 Wilgerbosdrift SA Oaks which was the last leg of the Wilgerbosdrift Triple Tiara.

The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade drops to 2000m and the blinkers will be re-fitted. She is a class above the rest of this field and if the Triple Tiara has not taken too much out of her, she should notch up her ninth career victory.

Trainer Johan Janse van Vuuren saddles Prince Of Fire in Race 2. He is much better than his last start in the Grade 2 WSB Gauteng Guineas. He returns from a 12-week break which may have done him the world of good. He has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this course and distance. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.
