Early Start At Vaal Today

First due off @ 11h35

It is an early start for the first of today’s double-headers with the first on the seven-race programme at Vaal due off at 11h35.

Don’t forget to get your selections in for the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge at least five minutes before the first is due off.

Karangetang from the Johan Janse van Vuuren stable takes his place in Race 6. His last two starts under Smanga Khumalo have been decent.

He cast a shoe in running last time which didn’t help his chances.

He has won twice, finished second three times and third three times from 14 starts over this distance.

He is the stable elect and can notch up his fourth-career victory.

Trainer Chris Jonker sends out Teo Torriatte in Race 4.

She has shown signs of a form return in her last two starts.

The daughter of The United States won her maiden over this distance. She takes a slight drop in class and it is encouraging that Denis Schwarz retains the ride.

She jumps from pole position and may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
