Green Light Gal Can

The Pick 6 starts in the fourth at 13h45

A competitive card kicks off in the Mother City at Durbanville today which includes the running of The Listed Settlers Trophy.

The first race starts at 11h55 and the lucky last will close off proceedings at 16h40.

There will be plenty of attention on the projected R1 million Pick 6 offered.

The Justin Snaith stable send out Green Light Gal who competes in Race 5. This daughter of Gimmethegreenlight won her debut effort much easier than the official margin suggests.

She found plenty support that day when showing good pace in the early stages and the manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She has her first run around the bend but will get all the necessary assistance from the saddle with stable jockey Richard Fourie aboard.

The Candice Bass-Robinson camp send out Marmalisa who participates in Race 9. The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade made eye-catching late progress on debut at this course.

She understandably raced green that day and will come on leaps from with that run under the belt.

Her pedigree suggests that she will absolutely relish the step up in trip and has cracked a better draw this time around.

Also, with the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating in the lucky last.

  • The Bipot starts in the second at 12h35
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third at 13h10
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth at 13h45
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fifth race at 14h20
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the sixth race at 14h55
