Snaith Sergeant Returns Today

First off at 13h45

The return to action after a wind op and a 33 week break of the 115 rated Sergeant Hardy could brighten today’s Durbanville meeting.

The six year old son of Captain Al steps out in the sixth race, a 1250m Pinnacle Stakes, and the word from the Snaiths is that he is doing well and has an each way chance.

Sergeant Hardy

His recent form – he has been unplaced in his last seven starts – will not generate any face value optimism, but he is the class at best. He is the SP Clockwatcher’s Best Bet.

The first race is off at 13h45.

The false rail is set at zero on the back stretch with a 3m spur at approximately the 500m.
